Best Christmas Songs EVER Made

1.)  All I Want For Christmas is You

You can ask anyone about there favourite Christmas songs, and theres a 99.99% chance that this song will be on there list.  This is my favourite Christmas song and me and my sister love to try to hit that high note at the end of the song.

2.)  Mistletoe (Justin Bieber)

Now, even thought Justin has totally destroyed his career and is extemely rude to his fans, any former Belieber and anyone for that matter, can’t help but sing every word of this song when it comes on. ¬†Trust me I know, I was too, a former Belieber.

3.)  Christmas Wrapping

I am not ashamed that I can sing every word to this song perfectly.

4.)  The Most Wonderful Day of The Year

The Glee version of this songs is EVERYTHING! ¬†And if you have been reading my My Obscure Christmas blog posts then you would know that this song is actually from my favourite Christmas movie, of all time. ¬†Go check it out if you haven’t seen it already.

5.)  Must Be Santa

If you have this song memorized lyric by lyric then you deserve a metal for being one of the most dedicated human beings on this planet.  *Slow Clap*

Best Christmas Movies

Hey guys Maddie here. ¬†And today I am continuing on with MyObscureChristmas! ¬†So it’s day seven and there are 5 days left till Christmas, who else is hella ready for Xmas 2016!

I’m not going to ramble on and on about how excited I am about Christmas this year. ¬†Lets get into this Christmas Movie filled blog post! ¬†(These are not in any order)

Best Christmas Movies

1.)  Elf

I don’t know if anyone can watch Elf and not laugh, let alone not smile. ¬†It’s one of my definite favourites and many other people will have it on there Christmas Movies list. ¬†Its definitely a family favourite, and a Christmas must watch movie!

2.)  Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (1964)

This Christmas movie is my absolute favourite Christmas movie ever.  I love it so, so, so much and I love watching it with my siblings, mostly my younger brother.  I love the soundtrack of this movie, so much its just so awesome.

3.)  Dr. Seuss: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

When I write down this movie I mean the nice child-friendly cartoon version not the evil real life scary version. ¬†This is an amazing movie to watch with your kids and just your family in general. ¬†“I wouldn’t touch you, with a 39¬Ĺft pole.”¬†

4.)  Christmas with the Kranks

This is one of the most hilarious Christmas movie that I have seen and I dare you to find one funnier and comment them so that I can watch them. ¬†Its a funny and child friendly (don’t take my word on it thought)

5.)  Santa Clause

This is a classic Christmas movie and I don’t love it but I don’t hate it. ¬†It’s one of those movies that you can watch once, but if someone puts it one again after you have already watch it, you’re just about ready to scratch your eyes out. ¬†But if you haven’t seen it yet I do recommend it but not if you have already watched it, and if you have watch it, and your family is going to watch it this year, Imma be praying for you tonight.

So thats all for the seventh day of My Obscure Christmas, I hope you enjoyed it and make sure to stick around for tomorrow.  And remember that, we only have five days left of 12 days of My Obscure Christmas, and then on day twelve it will be Christmas day!  Bye.

Things to do Over Winter Break

maddieHey guys.  So, even though this post is part of MyObscureChristmas (day six)  I have realized that not everyone celebrates Christmas.  So for the sixth day of My Obscure Christmas I am taking a break of Christmas, as hard as it may be, and doing a more winter based theme.  Today I give to you:

Things To Do Over Winter Break

1.)  Have a Snowball Fight!

This thing to do over the winter break is something that you with definitely find in almost every “Things to do Over the Winter Break” blog post that you can find. ¬†Go outside with some friends and have a good old fashioned snowball fight. ¬†Have some laughs and afterwards you can…

2.) Cuddle up Next to the Fire

After your out on the town and your boots are wet and your hair is frozen solid put on a comfy sweater, grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and a boyfriend and/or friend and sit by the fire.  Tell some stories and scroll through Instagram.  Put on a awesome movie/tv show and just relax.

3.)  Go to the Beach

If you are like me and don’t like someone that snows, but instead you live on a hot island, you can talk a chill day down at the beach. ¬†Go in the ocean, drink a smoothie, eat a burger and just have fun. ¬†Maybe bring a book if you enjoy to read, or bring some friends if your in the mood to chat. ¬†The ocean is my happy and comfortable place. ¬†

4.)  Go out and Get a Coffee/Hot Chocolate

Imagine it, its 8:00am you wake up feeling like crap (maybe even looking like it) and you just want to sleep for a month. ¬†All you need is a little coffee in your system and you’ll be good to go. ¬†And to those crazies who decide not to drink coffee, hot chocolate may not be as good but its still a winter tradition.

5.)  Make Your Instagram Tumblr AF

You see all the girls you know these days just magically make there Instagram’s magically Tumblr for the winter season. ¬†Well now you can be on of those annoying girls too! ¬†Simply follow these easy steps below!

  1. Take photos of the most random random crap ever
  2. Make sure the colours all go with each other somehow even if it barley makes sense
  3. Slap a filter onto it and still us the hashtage “NoFilter”
  4. Add a artsy caption that theres a 99.99% chance that you got off the internet

6.)  Have a Movie Night With you Friends/Family

Invite some friends over or just ask your family to have a fun movie night with you.  Get some chips, soda, popcorn, hot chocolate and other movie night essentials and watch a bunch of movies.  My family always watches the Lord of the Rings movies.

Thanks for reading guys.  I hope you enjoyed day six, and that was something different because some people as I said earlier not everyone celebrates Christmas!  Talk to you guys tomorrow!  Bye!

Madison

Makeup for Christmas

Hey guys! ¬†So its the fifth day of 12 Days of My Obscure Christmas, and today we’re getting into beauty. ¬†I’m not going to keep you waiting for this post, so lets get to it, shall we.

1.) Red Royal
Christmas time is definitely the time to rock a beautiful red lip, isn’t it? ¬†So for for this red-royalmakeup set, I have incorporated the red lip, and red nails. ¬†There is a awesome liquid eyeliner, and mascara. ¬†For the eye shadow I went with a silver. ¬†I would definitely wear this, and in my perspective I think it just about screams Christmas, does it not?

2.)  Nude Beauty
nude beauty.jpgSometimes, makeup that doesn’t stand out a can be even more beautiful. ¬†I have chosen a nude lip, and liquid eyeliner, the same as red royal, and a mascara. ¬†There is a gold eyeshadow. ¬†And there is nail polish matching the lip colour. ¬†Nude is one of my favourite shades of lip, and adding the gold eyeshadow, makes it so much better.¬†

3.)  Smokey Eye
smokey eye.jpgA smokey eye is always a good way to go if you’re going out on the town, or going to a dinner party at a friends. ¬†I topped of the smokey eye look with a sparkling purple lip, and silver, metallic, nail polish. ¬†Also some sparkles to really top off the smokey eye look.

This is my favourite makeup look.  I have always had an eye for bright and dark lips, that stick out.  I like the nude lip, but I like ones that stand out more.

Thanks for reading I hope you like reading my blog posts, because I actually really enjoy writing them.  But thats all for the fifth day!  Bye!

Hairstyles for Christmas

Hey guys, as always it Maddie.  So for the fourth day of 12 days of My Obscure Christmas, I have something just like the last day.  Hairstyles for Christmas.  I hope your try some out!

Hairstyles for Christmas

1.)  The Fishtail Braid fishtailbraid

This braid is beautiful, and can go with just about anything. ¬†It’s a perfect braid for a simply cosy night by the fire, or a night out on the town, I would insist on using this braid to get your hair out of your face when needed, and it looks really amazing and beautiful.

2.)  Half-Up Half-Down Braided Crownmaxresdefault

I love doing these types of crowns. ¬†There easy and they look good all at the same time. ¬†They go well with just about any non-formal setting that you go to during Christmas time. ¬†As I said this isn’t a formal hair style.

88c9dfc9606b6224013e1216eb4e7bce.jpg

3.)  Messy Bun

Although the average messy bun looks easy to achieve, they can actually be really hard do. ¬†They look really good if you have a lot of highlights in your hair. ¬†There good for days were you’re just done with 2016, and we all are, so there perfect for this year.

4.)  Messy Ponytail

easy-hairstyles-for-long-hair-messy-ponytail.jpgThis is probably the easy hair style to do. ¬†It goes with everything, I dare you to try and prove me wrong. ¬†Having a bad day, put your hair up and spray it with dry shampoo, and then you’re good to go. ¬† I think that a messy ponytail looks the best if you have long, thick hair.

5.)  Braided Bun

3-messy-prom-hairstyle-with-braid-around

This bun is amazing because it can be used for a casual situation or a formal situation.  Its also easier than it may look.  This is a braided hairstyle that everyone should know how to do.

So thats day four, I hope you enjoyed, their will be something similar to this post tomorrow but with makeup, so stay tuned and make sure to give this post a like, and the one tomorrow too.  There are 8 days left for 12 Days of My Obscure Christmas, make sure to read everyone of them.

Outfits for Christmas Time

Hey guys, it’s Maddie and today I have the third day of 12 Days of My Obscure Christmas! ¬†Can you believe it, there is only 9 days left till Christmas (including today). ¬†So for todays blog post, you probably already noticed seeing the title, “Outfits for Christmas Time!” so I’m going to stop rambling on about the post and just give it to you. ¬†Here you go!

Outfits for Christmas Time

1.)  Beauty Without Trying

maddie #1.jpg
Made Using Polyvore

Theres always theres always one person who goes out looking flawless without even trying. ¬†Well today I’m going to teach you how to accomplish this look.

*Step 1*

First things first you have to get the cloths down.  So get your favourite pair of leggings, and a sweater you love that goes well with them.

*Step 2*

The shoes.  Some may even argue that they are the most important part the outfit.  Get some cute boots like the ones in the photo beside you, or get your old pair of converse and your pretty much ready to go.

*Step 3*

Accessories!  They can change your outfit so much.  For this outfit you simply need a scarf that would match your outfit and a phone case to match it too.

2.)  Trendymaddie-2

This is the more Trendy side to Christmas 2016.  Its a easy look to create but not to work, so if you can then try it out.  This is how.

*Step 1*

Clothes. Simply get a skater skirt and a long sleeved crop top.  You will also need a pair of knee high socks that you may need to buy.  I have choosen one that have cute cat faces on them which you can see to your right.

*Step 2*

Shoes. Simply, but makes a difference. ¬†Go with a pair of high heeled boots, choose the colour that best matches your outfit. ¬†If you don’t own boots, you could always go with your everyday pair of converse.

*Step 3*

Accessories, lets go! ¬†Okay so will definitely need a cute hat, a beanie with a pom-pom one the top of it maybe? ¬†For your phone case go with something simply that matches your outfit. ¬†I have chosen this Christmas one that says “All I Want For Christmas Is You”. ¬†If you want you can add in a purse, you choose.

3.)  Christmas Partymaddie3

Can’t have a Christmas without going to a party, or even just Christmas dinner, either way if there’s any excuse for dressing up all fancy I’ll always take it. ¬†Now let me teach you how to get this look.

*Step 1*

The dress! ¬†You can’t go out without a dress. ¬†I love dresses. ¬†And after this outfit, I hope you will too. ¬†I want will a simply red dress to show of the Christmas colours. ¬†But you can choose another colour of dress if you wish to.

*Step 2*

Shoes, as always, they give me life!  I went with beauty red tall heels to match the dress.

*Step 3*

Jewellery completes an outfit when needed, and for a fancy dinner party, jewellery is defiantly needed. ¬†I choose a neckless, fake diamonds of course I’m not rich! ¬†And earrings, as the neckless fake.

*Step 4*

Accessories, purses, phone cases, everything!  So for this party outfit I have choose a black hand purse, black so the whole outfit is not red, and for a phone case I have something match the outfit completely.

So thats the ending of day 3!  Hope you enjoyed, and stick around for tomorrows post!  Bye guys.

xoxo,

Madison
